Robert Bettes's Forecast

Thursday, September 18, 2014 - 6:33pm

THURSDAY NIGHT:  A Flash Flood Watch is posted through the night.  Expect periodic showers and t-showers.  The remnant moisture from Odile will pass between El Paso and Las Cruces in the night; therefore, we still face the threat of locally heavy rainfall until early Friday morning.  The variable winds will range from 5-15 mph, and the low will be 65.

4 CAST:  Friday will start out mostly cloudy with a few lingering showers early.  By midday, we'll see the sunshine breaking through the clouds.  Friday will climb to 85.  Expect a few scattered showers and possible t-showers to crop up Friday with the heating.  The threat of heavy rainfall will be gone by Friday afternoon.  Saturday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of a few isolated showers.  Saturday's high:  90.
