I started working at KDBC as a Multimedia Journalist in November 2011. My hometown is Houston, where I worked at KPRC Local 2 as an associate producer for three years.

I was born and raised in Houston and earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Houston in Broadcast Journalism. I was a member of the University of Houston Cougar Dolls Dance Team and then went on to become a member of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders. I'm a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals and LULAC.

I've wanted to be a reporter to make a difference in the community and keep the people informed about what's happening around them. It's an extreme reward to be able to help people who need it the most. My passion for reporting the news has made me realize that no matter how small or big the story is, it is important to someone.

El Paso is interesting in the sense that it's a big city, but still has a small town feel. Everyone here has been very welcoming during my stay in the Sun City. I have grown to love El Paso with its beautiful mountains and awesome scenery.

My favorite kinds of stories are the ones that impact El Pasoans and help those that are less fortunate. I am truly amazed at how the citizens of this city lend a helping hand and give from their hearts when someone is in need.

I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my young nephew, Jacob. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, dancing and doing outdoor activities.
