The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department, and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department will host the 3rd annual National Kids to Parks Day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Not so fast – the El Paso Triple-A Name the Team contest is still going strong! While almost 3,000 names have been submitted thus far, there is still time to make sure your name idea is considered for El Paso’s Triple-A team.
The New Mexico State baseball team plays a three-game series against Seattle U starting Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m. in Seattle, Wash. Game two of the series is set for Friday, May 17 at 3 p.m.

The New Mexico State baseball team scored four runs in the first two innings of play but lost 6-4 to UTSA at Roadrunner Field in San Antonio, Texas, Sunday, May 12.
The New Mexico State softball fell in the 2013 edition of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament championship game with a 4-0 final score to the San Jose State Spartans on Saturday, May 11.

UIL 4A Softball Regional Quarterfinals
A 3-1 win over the Texas State Bobcats on Friday evening, May 10, the New Mexico State softball team advances to the final round of the 2031 Western Athletic Conference Tournament. That game is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, May 11.
