UTEP Athletics’ biggest night of the year will commence on Aug. 17 at Grace Gardens. Orange Fever Fiesta will kick off the 2013-14 athletic season, as it is the largest annual fundraising event held by the Miner Athletic Club. Monies raised from Orange Fever Fiesta benefit student-athlete scholarships. The event will be held from 5-11 pm.

The fun and festivities will begin with a complimentary open bar during the silent auction, sponsored by Glazer’s Distributors (5-7 pm), followed by dinner and the main event (7-11pm).

The evening will be highlighted by a live auction and high-energy dueling pianos performance by the nationally renowned 176 Keys Fun Pianos. The program is sure to be a crowd pleaser with a wide variety of music genres and songs.

The live auction features tremendous packages including a UTEP men’s basketball away game trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas, trips to a Dallas Cowboys game and the NCAA Final Four, a Clear Channel advertising package and the ultimate experience of traveling with the football team to the game at Texas A&M in November.

There are several ways to get involved with this great event. Fans may purchase gold ($5,000), silver ($3,000) and bronze ($2,000) sponsorship packages. These packages also include tickets to the FIU football game and on-field recognition when the Miners take on the Panthers Nov. 16.

Tables of 10 are sold for $1,000 and individual tickets are $100.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of this year’s exciting event, while supporting UTEP student-athletes. Seats are limited and this event will sell out. For more information, or to purchase tickets, please call (915) 747-8759 or visit www.minerathleticclub.com.
