The USA Men's Soccer team shocked Mexico and Mexico City, winning 1-0 at Estadio Azteca on a night of celebration for the nation.  Mexico won the Men's Soccer Gold Medal at the Olympics, and was honored at halftime.

It was their rivals to the north who were celebrating in the second half after an 80th minute goal from Michael Orozco.  The victory is the U.S.'s first in Mexico in 75 years.

Las Cruces native and former Mayfield Trojan Edgar Castillo started in midfield for the U.S., and next up, the U.S. will play in Jamaica in World Cup Qualifying on September 7, while Mexico will play at Costa Rica.
