UIL Ruling Does Not Advance Franklin in Football State Playoffs

Today, the Franklin High School Football team learned their fate in the UIL 5A State playoffs, and the Texas University Interscholastic league upheld the transfer waiver for a player from Arlington-Bowie, meaning Bowie will advance in the playoffs after their 31-14 victory over Franklin this past weekend. The Cougars end their season 10-2 overall, with a Co-District championship.
