Montwood boys basketball coach Tony Harper became the only active high school coach in Texas and 4th nationwide to reach 900 career wins Friday. The longtime Rams coach got the milestone victory at the expense of Eastwood beating the Troopers 38-28.
Named 2011 UIL Coach of the Year, Harper has led Montwood since the school opened in 1990. Prior to that he had stops at Burges and El Paso High School
