Skelton And Cardinals Lose To 49'ers

John Skelton never stood a chance. The Burges High School graduate started for Arizona against San Francisco in Monday night football and received little help from his Cardinal teammates.
The 49'ers beat Arizona 24-3.
Skelton was 32-52 for 290 yards with one interception but constantly threw under pressure. San Francisco sacked him four times and Arizona could deliver just seven rushing yards during the game.
