Riverside High School Football's Midnight Madness began in 1993 under then head coach Tom Work. It continues today, one of the exciting high school football traditions in the Borderland... and in Texas. Riverside went 2-8 last season under head coach Eric Frontz, and he's hoping practice will help turn the program around. The Rangers motto: "first on the field, last one's off."

"We have a group of young kids that are hard workers, and we're expecting good things out of them. Last year was obviously a dissapointment, but moving on, and have people behind us and we're ready to work. You know, we have been waiting since the end of the season last year to get back on the field, and right the things that are wrong, and be better."

Riverside opens up the season Friday, August 29 at Chaparral High School.
