NMSU equestrian to hold crimson and white scrimmage

The New Mexico State Equestrian team opens its season this weekend with their annual Crimson & White inter-squad scrimmage, Saturday morning at the 9 a.m. at the NM State Equestrian Center. Admission is free to the event.

Reining and Equitation on the Flat will kick off the scrimmage, followed by Horsemanship and Equitation over Fences.

Second year head coach Robin Morris-Walters welcomes back 18 returners from last season and six newcomers. NM State opens its regular season when they travel to Waco, Texas to take on SMU on Sept. 26 and then compete in the Willis Invitational, hosted by Baylor, Sept. 27-28.
