Multiple Ex-Miners Compete in Tuesday Olympic Events

Three fomer Miners will be competing in Olympic events Tuesday. Churandy Martina will race in the 200 meter qualifier. He took bronze in Beijing in the event before being disqualified so expect him to look for redemption. 2008 NCAA champion Michael Hanany will be competing in the high jump finals. He narrowly missed the finals 4 years ago. Finally, Blessing Okabare will begin the defense of her bronze medal in the long jump.
