Miners Finish 4th in London Sprint Relay

Three former Miners make up the Nigerian women's 4x100m relay team and the squad finished just outside the medal stand taking 4th in the London Olympic finals Friday. Blessing Okagbare, Oludamola Osayomi, and Endurance Abinuwa all ran for UTEP and all ran together clocking a time of 42.64 seconds.

Another UTEP alum qualified for another Olympic final Friday. Churandy Martina and the Netherlands 4x100m relay team will race in Saturday's final after qualifying friday with a time of 38.29 seconds, the 8th best overall time.
