The Miners must win out if they hope to become bowl eligible and their chances of winning Saturday went up when starting quarterback Nick Lamaison returned to practice Wednesday. The Senior left Saturday's game against Tulane in the second quarter with a strained hamstring and was held out the first two days of practice. Today however, he impressed his coach with his progress.
"Nick looked real good today. He looked crisp, he looked sharp, he looked rested. So that's good," said Mike Price.
"We're not mathematically ready for anything without winning this game. All the marbles are on this game for us."
UTEP is currently a 13.5 underdog at Houston.
