The San Francisco Giants stunned the Cincinnati Reds for the second straight day, forcing a decisive game 5 Thursday in Cincinnati. The Giants defeated the Reds, 8-3, while the St. Louis Cardinals ruined the Washington Nationals party, winning 8-0. This was the first MLB playoff game in Washington D.C. in 79 years.
In other action, the New York Yankees got a walk off home run from Raul Ibanez in a 3-2 victory over the Orioles.
