The Franklin Cougars are still undefeated and on top in District 1-5A. The Cougars dominated Americas on Thursday night behind a monster effort from running back Marcos Hernandez. Franklin won 41-10.
In other Thurday games, Jefferson beat Irvin in overtime 10-7 and Las Cruces came from behind to beat Alamogordo 45-13 at the Field of Dreams.
