Antonio Escalante lost to Rocky Juarez by technical knockout in the 8th inning in San Antonio Saturday night, falling to 28-5 overall. Also, in the Top Rank bout card at the El Paso Coliseum, Brad Soloman defeated Yorgi Estrella in a majority decision; Matt Korobox defeated Milton Nunez in a unanimous decision; Glen Tapia defeated Dashon Johnson in a unanimous decision; Alejandro Lopez defeated Takalani Ndlovu in a unanimous decision; Tremaine Williams won a split decision over Raul Carrillo; and El Paso's Jennifer Han lost a split decision to Claudia Gutierrez while her brother Abraham defeated Arsenio Terrazas by knockout in the first round.
