Reyes Dorado kept the Wichita Wingnuts (47-35) off the board during his six innings of work and the El Paso Diablos (39-40) beat the Wichita Wingnuts, 6-0.

Dorado allowed five hits, two walks and struck out one.

The El Paso Diablos turned the win into a rout with four runs in the eighth.

Zane Chavez pushed the El Paso Diablos ahead, in the eighth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. Fernando Valenzuela singled to start the eighth. He then went from first to second on a single by Jermy Acey. Finally, Chavez came to the plate with the game scoreless in the eighth inning and doubled, bringing home Valenzuela and Acey.

Chavez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the El Paso Diablos. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

 

The El Paso Diablos were led by Valenzuela's hitting. Valenzuela went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth and eighth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Justin Harper recorded his third win of the year for the El Paso Diablos. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Ryan Hinson (8-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
