
JJ Muse brought home the winning run to give the El Paso Diablos (26-36) the lead in the sixth inning, as the El Paso Diablos hung on to beat the Grand Prairie AirHogs (40-25) 8-6 on Thursday.
After Patrick Arlis singled, Muse came to the plate with the score tied at six, and doubled, scoring Arlis.
The El Paso Diablos' Welington Dotel was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Ramon Garcia looked sharp on the mound. Garcia held the Grand Prairie AirHogs hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Andres Rodriguez had two extra-base hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He doubled in the first and third innings.
Nick DeBarr ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.
