Thanksgiving has always been a special time to be a Cowboy  The team usually wins and fans celebrate the holiday with family and visions of Super Bowls.
That could be changing.
The Cowboys still have the home field advantage for Thursday's game against Oakland but don't expect the Raiders to be intimidated with the short work week.  Every NFL team now plays a Thursday night game thanks to the NFL Network.
Jason Garrett says the familiarity has diluted the Cowboys advantage.
" Yea, the whole league has a Thursday game, so this has been something that we've done for a lot of years around here and we know the rhythm of it, but everybody has one. This Thursday night football thing is certainly a new dimension in the NFL and 32 teams get a chance to deal with this short week and maybe have the benefits of the short week the next week where you get almost a second bye...."
Dallas and Oakland kick off at 2:30MT with CBS Local 4 KDBC televising.
