Coronado edges Montwood to keep atop 1-5A

Montwood boys had a chance to take a share atop 1-5A with a win over top #1 Coronado Friday but it was a tall order inside the Thunderdome as the T-Birds edged the Rams 37-34. Coronado was led by 11 points from Daniel Amigo and 10 from Daniel Hernandez as the Thunderbirds improve to 28-1, 11-1 in 1-5A. Montwood remains in second place in District falling to 24-4, 9-1 in 1-5A.
