Idaho Ends NMSU Women's Season at WAC Tourney

The New Mexico State women's basketball season came to an end at the WAC tournament when the Aggies lost to the Idaho Vandals 75-63. NMSU finishes the season 18-13 with an 8-8 conference record.

Throughout most of the game, the score was close. With 4:35 left in the 2nd half, Danisha Corbett hit a three-pointer to cut the lead down to one point. But from that point on, Idaho outscored NMSU 17-6 for the final margin of victory.

Jasmine Lowe led the team in scoring with 19 points on 7-9 shooting, including going 4-4 from three-point range. Crystal Boyd chipped in a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Idaho had three players in double figures. Yinka Olorunnife scored 23 points and Shaena Kuehu had 22, each grabbing 10 rebounds as well.
