The New Mexico State soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Denver.

"They are really good," head coach Blair Quinn said. "They are every bit deserving of their ranking right now. They are better than we are."

At halftime, the Aggies trailed Denver, 2-0. The Pioneers scored in the 26th and 31st minute. Both teams recorded a pair of shots on goal with senior forward Yolanda McMillion and sophomore forward Jennae Cambra each firing one for the Aggies in the first period. The Aggies ended the match with eight shots. Denver added a goal in the 56th minute.

The Aggies take a break from conference play and host CSU Bakersfield, Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m.
