
After a tough weekend on the road, the New Mexico State women’s tennis team opens the home schedule with two matches at the NM State Tennis Center on March 1-2. The Aggies face Colorado State on Friday at 1 p.m. and welcomes Northern Arizona on Saturday morning.
The Aggies went 0-3 just a week ago during a road swing through the West Coast to put the team at an overall 1-5 record.
Ros-Polly Nguyen led the team a week ago, going 2-1 in singles play with her only loss coming to No. 59 UC Irvine.
The Aggies welcome the Rams in the home opener on Friday morning. CSU comes into the match 0-4 on the season with its most recent loss to Montana last weekend.
Next, the Lumberjacks make their way to the NM state Tennis Center on Saturday, March 2. NAU is 4-6 on the spring season with a win over Nothern Colorado a week ago. The Lumberjacks have also claimed victories over Aggie rivals UTEP and UNM this season.
The Aggies’ home opening weekend starts on Friday, March 1 at 1 p.m., and wraps up the following day at 11 a.m.
