49ers rally to win NFC Championship

The battle to represent the NFC in New Orleans is settled and it was the San Francisco 49ers who earned their ticket to Super Bowl XLVII.

After falling down 17-0 in the first half, the 49ers rallied and took a four-point lead with just seconds left in the game.

Though the Falcons had one last chance at greatness, San Francisco's defense denied them giving their first conference championship since 1994.

It was an emotional scene on the field for all involved.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick shared an embrace with head coach Jim Harbaugh who, despite having a veteran on the roster, game the young QB his first professional start earlier this season.

The celebration started on the field and quickly made it's way to the locker room where the newly-crowned NFC champs were able to relish their moment.

The 49ers will face the Baltimore Ravens on February third, in Super Bowl XLVII.
