EL PASO — Hopefully your tastebuds can handle the heat! A Centennial Salsa Contest is being held at UTEP's International Food Fair on Monday.
If you think you;ve got the best salsa in town, recipes are due by 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22. The winner will be selected during the Office of International Program’s International Food Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at the UTEP Union Plaza.
The winning recipe will be published and served throughout UTEP’s Centennial Celebration. To submit your recipe, email the following details to 2014@utep.edu:
- Full name
- Salsa recipe, including all ingredients, measurements, and how to prepare/mix them
- Number of servings your recipe yields
- A sentence or two about your love of UTEP
- Phone number
