School starts next week in Doña Ana County, and County Manager Julia T. Brown wants to ensure that each student goes to class fully prepared. That’s why there is a school-supply drive underway that runs through Aug. 8 at the Doña Ana County Government Center main reception desk.
Supplies that are donated will be distributed Monday, August 11, in coordination with the superintendents’ offices of the Las Cruces, Hatch and Gadsden school districts.
Supplies being accepted include pencils, pens, notebooks, binders, crayons, erasers, calculators, rulers, etc.
The Doña Ana County Government Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
