A new study in the "Journal of Public Health" says if concession stands offer healthy foods, they will sell.
University of Iowa researchers went to a local school district's concession stand. They added healthy foods like apples and string cheese to the menu, and used healthier ingredients in classics like nachos and popcorn.
The result: sales remained stable, and profits even went up a bit. The classics still sell well, but the school says consumers respond well to having a choice.
