The U.S. job market got a boost in February. According to the U.S. Labor Department, employers added 175-thousand jobs, that's up from 129-thousand in January. The strongest hiring came from professional and business services industries, which include accountants, architects and technology workers.
As the labor force grew, so did the number of unemployed. The nation's unemployment rate rose slightly to 6-point-7 percent which is up from 6-point-6 percent in January.
