El Paso, TX (KDBC) — El Paso Electric crews restored power to customers in El Paso's Upper Valley and Canutillo Saturday evening.
According to the El Paso Electric outage map, 2,304 customers were without power. However, El Paso Electric Spokesperson Eduardo Gutierrez said 1,412 customers were impacted.
Gutierrez said the outage started at 12:43 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Power was restored at 6:46 p.m.
Gutierrez said there were two different causes for the outage involving the same power line. There was normal wear and tear in one area, and a car accident west of Westside Rd. caused the outage near La Union, New Mexico.
