One of the biggest rock bands of the eighties could be calling it quits today (Tuesday). Motley Crue announced on its Facebook page its members will make "the biggest announcement of their career" at 3:00 pm eastern time.
It's been widely reported online the group will announce its break-up after more than 30 years, with a farewell tour in the works. The band is scheduled to record a performance for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this afternoon following the announcement.
Motley Crue is known for several staples of eighties rock radio, including "Girls, Girls, Girls"; "Doctor Feelgood" and "Home Sweet Home".
