The International Consumer Electronics show kicked off in Las Vegas, today (Monday). CES is one of the year's biggest showcases for new gadgets. The giant technology trade show mixes dozens of major tech companies with hundreds of startups.
Many of the gadgets are prototypes that may never hit the retail market. Others feature new versions of products and the latest in technology. Much of the buzz this year surrounds fitness technology, from pedometers to devices which collect other workout stats and sync to smartphones.
High-priced TV's are still a dominant product at CES, including flashy features like curved screens, as screens get bigger and resolution gets higher.
