The Supreme Court of Texas has ordered that, beginning January 1, 2014, civil case filings in El Paso County must be done electronically.
In an effort to educate and inform the legal community and the general public about the upcoming transition to e-filing, El Paso County and the El Paso Bar Association will be hosting a free E-Filing Fair and Seminar on Thursday, December 12th, 2013.
The fair will be held from .11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the El Paso County Courthouse.
The fair is an opportunity for local attorneys, members of the legal community and individuals involved in civil litigation to speak with representatives from many of the vendors offering e-filing services in the state of Texas.
The e-File Seminar will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom.
Both events, the fair and the seminar, are free and open to the public.
