El Paso, Texas (KDBC) — A special party was held at Providence Children's Hospital Wednesday. It was a reunion party, celebrating the bonds that parents of premature babies have with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurses who cared for their babies while in recovery.
It also gives former nurses the opportunity to see the progress of their former patients.
"We were there for four weeks so we really got to know them, they took are of them," said Kristin Nathan, a mother who attended the event.
Some of the kids showed off their Halloween costumes. There was food, fun and games for all the children.
