LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Thousands of New Mexico State Aggies returned to campus Thursday.
On the first day of the Fall semester some of the incoming freshmen could be seen learning their way around campus.
Most students said they are happy to be back in class and eager to make the most of the college experience.
"It's a big difference coming from home and living in the dorms and meeting a lot of new people," said Payton Reynolds, starting his first year at NMSU.
This year campus housing is almost at a hundred percent capacity after the university decided to close down Monagle Hall for the Fall.
