El Paso, TX (KDBC) — The Public Service Board hosted its annual public meeting Thursday to discuss its five-year strategic plan.
During the meeting, El Paso Water Utilities went over the challenges the Borderland faces, such as the drought that continues to plague the region and how to go about them.
The board also discussed other items such as our water resources.
EPWU says the meeting this important because after this meeting they identify a plan of action.
The water company also wants to be proactive about the reliability of pipes, pump stations and reservoirs around town.
EPWU says El Paso fairs pretty well when it comes to water main breaks.
The Sun City has one third fewer breaks than the national average.
