Las Cruces, NM (KDBC) — The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will host the statewide 2013 New Mexico Sheriff's Association Conference Aug 20th -23rd.
Although the event is geared towards providing valuable teaching opportunities to deputies, the group is also planning to have a little fun.
On Wednesday, August 21st at 6 p.m., they'll host the 2nd Annual Law Enforcement Cook-off at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum on 4100 Dripping Springs Rd.
Uniformed and civilian employees from the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will compete against other agencies across New Mexico to show off their culinary skills.
Everyone is invited to the cook-off.
You can enjoy samples from more than 35 booths for a one time entry fee of just $15.
