For all those lefties who have felt discriminated against because their dominant hand is not the "right" one, today (Tuesday) is your day!
It is "International Left-Handers' Day" when it's right to be a lefty. For ages, being left-handed has been viewed as a negative thing, even as a disability in some cases and everyday tools, like scissors and can openers, are geared toward righties.
Experts say it's ok to be left-handed, and it shouldn't be something shameful! The Lefter-Hander's Day website says it's not clear why people are left-handed, but it is thought to be genetic.
