CNN — Zynga isn't taking chances with online gambling in the United States.
Officials with the company, best known for its social media game Farmville say they're no longer pursuing a gaming license.
That news sent Zynga's shares falling Friday.
Zynga has been going through a rough patch this year.
Last month, it announced plans to lay off nearly 20-percent of its employees and a few weeks ago the CEO and founder of Zynga resigned.
