El Paso, TX (KDBC) — The largest tattoo and music festival in the country is making a return to the Sun City. The Texas Showdown Festival is in its fourth year. It will once again be held at the El Paso County Coliseum July 19th through the 21st, and will feature 300 tattoo artists and a variety of bands including mariachis. The event creator and promoter says the most important thing is that it's family friendly, with kids under the age of 12 getting in free.
"It's an entertainment package all rolled up under one roof," said George Galindo, the promoter.
Tickets range from $25 for a one day pass to $40 for the whole weekend. The festival that originated in El Paso now tours the country.
