CNN — WFSB reports a home in Bristol, Connecticut belonging to a close relative of Aaron Hernandez was searched Wednesday night.
Hernandez, a former NFL player, is charged with first-degree murder.
Numerous detectives from Connecticut and Massachusetts were seen searching the garage area of the home.
Investigators were seen interviewing several people and removing items from the home.
Neighbors and police sources confirm the home belongs to a close relative of Hernandez.
Hernandez was arrested early Wednesday morning at his home in Massachusetts and charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd.
Lloyd had been found shot in an industrial park near Hernandez's home last week.
