El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Police have arrested a fifth suspect in connection with a drive by shooting near several schools in Northeast El Paso. 20 year-old Jose Scott Harper is now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the June 6th incident. Police say Harper and four others drove through various parts of Northeast El Paso firing shots at a dark colored pickup truck.
Students at six schools were held inside their classrooms. No one was hit by the bullets. Police believe the shootings were gang related.
