El Paso, TX (KDBC) — The Salvation Army in El Paso is very busy during the summer months.
The organization sees a steady stream of children stay there while school is out. In fact, about thirty to forty kids call the Salvation Army their home during the summer months.
We spoke with the Salvation Army Coordinator, Jonathan Robles, who says the organization plans activities and themes each week so that the kids will keep learning while their out of school. They even take the kids on weekly field trips.
The Salvation Army says donations from the public are much appreciated to make educational activities like this available to the children.
