El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Four people are arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting incident Thursday in Northeast El Paso that put several schools on a lock-out.
21-year-old Elijah Munn, 23-year-old Elgie Munn, 26-year-old Brittany Buttler and 21-year-old Shaniqua Atkins were all arrested under different charges.
Elgie Munn was charged specifically with Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity - Deadly Conduct, a Class A Assault warrant, and for five municipal warrants.
He is the only suspect still currently detained. His bond is set at $50,946.00.
It all began when investigators say suspects in a white sedan shot at a dark colored pickup truck, and it pursued the pickup throughout parts of the Northeast.
Police have not confirmed which of the suspects arrested were in which vehicle, but they did recover a bullet casing from the scene.
Officers eventually found the sedan in the 10400 block of Kendall St. around 11:30 a.m, and the lock-out for those schools involved was lifted before 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Elijah Munn was arrested for possession of crack cocaine in a drug free zone, in addition to his eight municipal traffic warrants.
Brittany Buttler was arrested under two municipal warrants, and Shaniqua Atkins had seven municipal warrants.
Investigators believe more arrests and charges are pending.
