El Paso, TX (KDBC) — The El Paso County's Election Dept. scrambled to finish last minute preparations Friday before the polls open for Election Day Saturday.
After at least five months of preparation, workers still have plenty to do the day right before the election.
Local 4 News caught up with them Friday afternoon as they made final calls to poll workers to make sure everyone had everything they need to avoid any problems at the polls.
"Right now we're making sure the judges received their packet and making sure that in that packet they have everything they need for tomorrow morning and making sure the judges know they have to be there on time," said Elections Administrator Javier Chacon.
Chacon says they also have to check all polling places to make sure there is enough signs pointing voters in the right direction so no one gets lost.
