The Dallas Cowboys selected Center Travis Frederick in the first round of NFL draft, the overall No. 31 pick. Frederick from the Univeristy of Wisconsin is a 6'3" and 212 pound center and comes to help an offensive line that has struggled in the last couple of seasons.
The Cowboys traded their 18th selection with San Francisco and in return obtained the 49ers first and third round picks, 31st and 93rd overall.
Fredrick ran the 40-yard dash in 5.15 seconds and can also play as a guard. The NFL draft will resume tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. (M.T.) with the second and third rounds and the Cowboys will have the 47th, 80th and 93rd picks.
