El Paso, TX — Fifty men and women can now call themselves El Paso firefighters. The El Paso Fire Department graduated it's eighty-fourth class Saturday, April 12th. After months of rigorous training, family and friends gathered to honor the newest members. Mayor John Cook was the honorary speaker and fire chief, Samuel Pena was the keynote speaker at the ceremony. Many of the firefighters will head to the northeast fire stations to begin their careers as firefighters.
