The National Collegiate Equestrian Association has announced Monday morning its 2013 All-America class. Junior Emily McConnell was the lone Aggie to receive the honor, being named an honorable mention selection. This is also the second straight year she has earned All-America honors.
"We are proud to have a student-athlete recognized at the national level,” head coach Robin Morris-Walters said. “Being named to the All-America Honorable Mention list is a big honor and is a testament to Emily's ability and dedication to the Equestrian sport. She is a steadfast competitor for her team and certainly deserves it."
McConnell ended the regular season with an overall record at 11-6 with three MVP honors all coming in Equitation over Fences. She tallied a record of 8-3 in Equitation over Fences and 3-3 in Equitation on the Flat.
