EL PASO — It's National Nutrition Month and the City of El Paso wants to make sure you're taking steps to eat right.
The City's Public Health Department and other local programs put on a gardening workshop at the Vista Del Valle Community Garden.
They're promoting the use of gardens as a way to get fresh food.
Experts recommend filling half your plate with fruits and vegetables every meal to help protect against health problems like cancer and heart disease.
