CENTRAL EL PASO — Two brothers were arrested by El Paso Police Department's Gang Unit in connection with a stabbing Monday afternoon.
Francisco Bonilla, 25, and Pedro Bonilla, 21, are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to police, the two men approached a male and female victim in the 1000 block of E. Father Rahm at 12:15 p.m. Monday.
The two brothers were allegedly armed with a metal tube and a hammer. Police said they threatened the female victim while beating and stabbing the male victim, who tried to escape the attack.
The male victim was taken to University Medical Center with stab wounds to his torso area.
Both of the Bonilla brothers are being held on $75,000 bonds.
