A retirement community in West El Paso is now expanding it's doors to cater to more senior citizens.
The Good Samaritan Society White Acres Retirement Community opened a new rehabilitation facility serving the elderly who no longer need hospital care, but cannot be admitted to a skilled nursing facility or even return home with home health care.
This will be El Paso's only multi-level service retirement community providing senior living apartment, assisted living apartments, and skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services to the elderly.
The services the new facility will provide are physical, occupational and speech therapy.
The new building came from a three million dollar grant from The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society Foundation and other local financial resources and donations.
